Current Project

Hydrokinetic turbine with sensor

Funding: Internal funding (PUTI Q1 Universitas Indonesia) & Kemdiktisaintek (Ministry of Higher Education, Science and Technology of the Republic of Indonesia)

Collaborator: ‪Adrianus Indrat Aria‬ – ‪Google Scholar‬ (Cranfield University, UK)

Main objective: Generating electricity from the water current with a device that causes less harm to fish and other animals in the water.

Current Project

Oyster Facade

Funding:  Eco-Campus

Partner: Miktha Farid Alkadri‬ – ‪Google Scholar‬ (Department of Architecture, Universitas Indonesia)

Main objective: Analyzing the thermal and environmental performance of oyster-shell wall facades used in southern China, with a focus on their heat transfer behavior and natural insulation properties to evaluate their potential adaptation in modern sustainable architecture.

Current Project

Rain Water Harvesting in Sukanagara High School

Funding:  Community Service Grant from IPB University

Partner: ‪Medria Kusuma Dewi Hardhienata‬ – ‪Google Scholar‬ (IPB University), ‪Andrew Schauf‬ – ‪Google Scholar‬ (IPB University), ‪Sita Rahmani‬ – ‪Google Scholar‬ (NUS), Pandu Padmanegara (CommCap)

Main objective: Building a rainwater harvesting system integrated with solar-powered sensors.

Current Project

Lake Toba Sustainable Homestay

Funding:  Internal of UI (PUTI Q1)

Partner: ‪Antony Sihombing‬ – ‪Google Scholar‬ (Regional & Urban Planning, Universitas Indonesia)

Main objective:  Analyzing the sustainability of socio-cultural and economic aspects of homestays around the Lake Toba Area through interviews with related government officials and homestay owners/operators.

Past Project

Solar-assisted drones

Funding:  Kemdiktisaintek (Ministry of Higher Education, Science and Innovation of the Republic of Indonesia)

Partner: ‪Medria Kusuma Dewi Hardhienata‬ – ‪Google Scholar‬ (IPB University)

Main objective: 
Designing a solar-powered drone with a battery storage system to increase flight hours.
